Evening all. Would anybody know if the fuel pump base diameter (where the big O ring goes), is the same size as the 748/998? The length of the plastic fuel gauge sender and how it’s fixed into the tank? And do the fuel pump outlet tubes just unscrew and is the thread the same size as the 748/998 QR fittings? Thanks, Ian
can confirm 'O' ring diameter is the same Ian - that's base ST4/748 compared. St4 Drg 042, item 15 748 Drg 034.1, item 26 (both 886.5.001.1A) "Complete flange" which I think is whole pump/filter/PRV etc was different number for each but could be something subtle, Neil would know i'm sure.
I know the hole for the fuel sensor is different, the 748 has a threaded outer and the st4 flange is unthreaded with a groove for a circlip on the inside. I could get round that though. And if the banjo bolts for the fuel outlets were different, i suppose I could get them re tapped...
