ST4s carbon exhaust can sleeves

  1. I have been thinking about modifying the exhausts on my 2002 ST4s.

    I have Remus DP cans marked "not for road use" and have a PCIII, slotted airbox, K&N filter set up.

    I don't want to alter the power characteristics, but I wanted to open up the exhaust cans and replace the aluminium sleeves with carbon ones form here:

    It looks a simple job based on other forum resources I have seen.

    Has anyone done the same thing? Any wisdom to share?

    PS: Wee update here: So, the 106mm inside diameter tube is the one for standard Ducati or Termigoni pipes. All rivet and support straps are available here too.
