Stands

  1. :):):):)Hi guys

What stands / lifts are you using for your Hypers ?

    Chow

  2. Not for Hyper but an Abba Skylift, they are the dogs bollocks!

  3. Pricey too :(

  4. Yes, but's it's for life - I thought about it for about 3 months and soooo glad I took the plunge...

  5. I'm using a stainless steel one from Harris Performance. It will last until I'm long gone. Superbly well made.

  6. I spoke to Harris today as I have the normal bobbin type front and rear and fancy the single sided one to match... £170 though.... Worth it ?

  7. I got a ducati performance one, secondhand (but like new) £40 off gumtree.

  8. I've got the single sided rear Harris. It is exceptionally good quality and will last a lifetime. You can change the rear pin size so will fit other single sides. It's not cheap but IMO worth it.

  9. Did you mean just a stand - I took it you wanted a stand / lift - i.e. not just a Paddock Stand, hence my suggestion

The Abba Skylift is the best of both when you consider all you may wish to do on a bike. Pricey when compared to a Paddock Stand - but not when you compare it to a lift / work bench and overall I find it much better.

I made the mistake of displaying my 999R on mine in the house so now saving up for another for the garage - more expense but they are good toys

  10. Well happy with this chaps :upyeah:

    Great value for money

  11. looks nice...2 questions

How does it it attach to the frame?

How about adjusting the chain, since there is no weight on the rear wheel, does the swingarm sag and change the chain tension?

You take out the top engine mount and refit it with the supplied fitting which allows the stand to locate into it. Also there is a large nylon bush which locates lower down (zoom in on pics to see)

Regarding the chain, you can lower the bike back onto it's wheels to adjust the chain and also the bike remains upright

    PERFECT!
