959 Starting After Lay Up

  1. Does anyone know where the fuse is for the injectors - I’m currently away so can’t get my owners manual.

I wouldn’t mind cranking the bike over a few times to build some oil pressure before staring it as it sat a while now.

    Thanks

  2. Hopefully these upload

  3. Looks like 3 in fuse box b

  4. Thanks that should do the trick

Could even just unplug the fuel pump from below the seat I suppose

    Thanks for that

  5. Is this recommended ?
Or will just hitting the start button be fine after a winter lay up

  6. Probably over the top to be honest. The bearing surfaces should still have a oil film on them and oil pressure should be pretty much instant but it just seems good practice.
When I start my lotus up after a few weeks i do the same thing and it takes a while for the oil light to go out just cranking the engine over. That had 8 litres of 10w60 to push round the engine and an oil cooler at the front of the car though so probably took a while to build oil pressure.

If i run my bike after sitting for a day or two it takes a couple of seconds for the oil light to go out.
