mine has stopped working suddenly and I now need to login every time I return to forum despite ticking above option. Not sure if th fault is your end or my end at the moment
That's a great faultfinding approach ET.. Just confirmed that it is my end as similar blocked auto login on another site, but still don't know what's caused it, never mind.

Fault finding is usually done by eliminating certain situations and establishing by what is left what it could be. I established, as I didn't have the fault (and if that's the case it's a bloody good bet that no-one else would have the fault), that the fault could be down to your end. How is that not diagnosing the situation? You found and confirmed it was your end. End of story.
