so who is going stir crazy over winter from not riding and spending more time sat online rather than on there bike........... answers on a postcard.................
+1 and its no coincidence that people start bitching at each other on here through not riding
Yes I've noticed people get grouchy in winter .. I ride all year But ride my hack in cruddy weather. Trouble is my seat got a hole the foam soaked up the ice cold rain . I say on bike and I've cold water squirted down my leg like I'd had an accident .. It looked back it felt bad !! So got to dry out seat and recover Wanted to take monster out tomorrow . Sleet all night and I got mutated man flu so il look in morning .. I'm chewing at the walls to be on my Ducs !
Did try sitting on the bike a couple of weeks ago. Tried the cbr due to its lower pegs and the steel sidestand. Still quite a way to go - just straddling the bike on the side stand was bending my left leg more than is comfortable, the pegs might as well have been on the moon. It's going to be a long summer...
Been to work and back a few times on the 999 last week. Joyful  When I had to drive in to work this morning it was, well, it weren't natural, beggin' yer pardon Mr Frodo.
Well I use bike all the time but my last outing converted my tank from Monster smooth to odd square-ish shape.
still going stir crazy as in a similar boat as philolds missing being on bike made worse by not able to drive for last 4 months still looking for a bike keep getting tempted by a vtr 1000 close by hmmmm
At least I was able to drive when I got my automatic car. Just a month without transport was immensely difficult.
took my 996 out today to test new clutch bits fitted weekend, was ment to be just a run up and down road, but was so nice i rolled up and hour later, felt good i can tell you : ) didnt want to get off
been told i should be able to drive a manual car again told last year i wouldnt be able to think i drove less than ten times last year :frown:
I'm pissed off because the weather and work commitments are getting in the way. I really admire you guys recovering from adversity, and hope you all get to "riding fitness" ASAP. Let's hope we all get onto two wheels soon.
