Always liked those but worried about resistance to a small off. More of a “guard” to stop your toe getting mangled rather than a “ cover”! Nice though.
They do look good and offer better resistance no doubt to the carbon fibre offerings... Just selling as they don’t look right on the Bayliss rep.
Yes, no doubt about that but then I wouldn’t have a carbon one either. The STM one may be strong but there’s nothing to it, just a couple of bits of wire, which, although strong per unit area (high stress allowable), there is insufficient area or stiffness to resist any impact.
Still looking to put mine on, be aware if you have clutch spring covers it will need standoffs, mine fouls the clutch springs if directly mounted on the clutch housing face.
