As per title neighbours bike was stolen 02:30 this morning from Chessington Surrey, I know it's not a Ducati but it was 2 garages from Mine, it's a T plate fireblade in the distinctive Telefonica colours pic below if any info get in touch Reg T407FBK
My security is as good as I can make it CCTV sensor lights etc, would be cheaper to hire a ex army Ghurka to patrol the place armed to the teeth of course just the Brazon cheek of the little shite he was up n down for over an hour I picked him up on the CCTV however he was wearing the preferred clothing of chavs and had his hoody right up grrrrrr
Guys its a good idea to check who is following you before you reach wherever you garage/park your bikes. I always make sure I am not being followed by doing some odd manoeuvres prior to reaching home so know not being tailed. Maybe paranoid but it all helps.
Very good tip and one thing I always do, another thing is that if I see someone taking pics while it's parked up I insist it doesn't include the number plate, The incident with neighbour was opportunist, it wasn't chained down and was fairly easy to move out, still a right B*****d
Not good Martin, but what can you do. I know what I would do as a preventative measure being an electrician ( and there wouldn't be any R.C.D's involved!)
when i lived in Aberdeen eight of us used to share a two bed flat, two of the lads had just bought brand new bikes a zxr750 and a gsx1000 both alarmed. six of us kipt in the living room, bikes parked in front of living room window and the feckers still managed to nab em. i had a cbf 550 they didn't nick that, cocks.
it was a bit mad, i eventually moved in with the burd to get some peace. that was madder. party animal.
I noticed loads of people in Aberdeen just leave their bikes on the street outside their flats.... They wouldn't last 5 minutes down here....
unless things have changed they don't. they where stolen a year to the day when the first bike was nicked another zxr750 same scenario.
In some parts of the US you can kill to protect property, even if it isn't yours. If you see a burglar invading your neighbour's home you can shoot him. No problem.
just to add i eventually bought that flat. my car got done 6 times in 6 months and the flat was done twice (crown street) which is ultimately why i moved to the sticks.
No wonder.... I've also moved house to avoid thieving twats. Crown St. is city centre?? I stayed in Union Grove. Coz I'm posh...
Probably stripped and put on that scumbag website Fleabay by now, police have been useless too, they wonder why crimes up
yip city centre just down from shirlaws. your aberdonian? cant be, i seen you smile in that pic of you at D.G. aberdonians don't smile.
