Took my 749s out about a week ago and it kept shutting down every time I went for third gear. It was as if it had run out petrol and was reluctant to start. Took it out again today and it was back to it's lovely self and running all as it should in all gears and speeds. Any thoughts?
Can't see how 3rd gear selection would trigger anything. I dont think the ecu knows what gear you're in. Have you got gear display fitted.
Try checking the TPS setting. The 749 is really sensitive to this. Until mine was set up it had a load of issues like this.
had a similar thing on the 748 and it was the tps.. seemed to only happen when hitting a certain gear/rev combo and was intermittent
