Stroud (glos) 2 Today (11/8)

  1. Rode through Stroud today for a change as I normally turn off the A46 for Frocester Hill, but for old times sake thought I head towards Cheltenham. First of all a 15 plate Multistrada M*15*** rode across my path at some traffic lights & then 5 minutes later near the bus station/stop/cinema a Hypermotard travelling in the other direction.
    Only two other Ducati's I saw all day, A48 down to Chepstow, M48, M4, M5, Cribbs, Bristol, Brislington (but not Riders), Bristol, M32, M4, A46 to Cheltenham (via Stroud) & home. Cracking little ride.

  2. theres a great ride from cheltenham, out on the a40 towards the forest,turn up plump hill towards monmouth then up to tintern abbey,on to chepstow then follow the river back to gloucester then cheltenham. About 100 mile round trip

  4. Moved out this way (Forest) from Cheltenham 10+ years ago, I normally ride out of it rather than through it. Near miss with the two biggest deer I've ever seen & going to the Italian day in Bristol back in April we had a boar run across the A48 between the lead bike & me. Oh & then there are the tractors...
