Weather looking great, and bike drop off Sat and free day Sun so why not?! Prob leave about 0900 and head across to wantage then down, time and traffic dependent all the way to salisbury and across Anyone?
last bump, I'll be leaving Gloucester 0845, meeting Sainsburys 419/420 junction, then towards oxford and across country, south to Winchester. As long as its dry, only have bike jeans as leathers on a truck
Well, ended up as a solo ride, via the meet point just in case but no one there so headed south instead and a road I havent been on for years and ended up smacking down the A34! Yawn. Better ride back, via Overton then north to pick up the A417 to Faringdon and was going to go all the way until I picked ip two sports bikes going up to Stow, and traffic terrible so tagged on to them. I did feel that higher speed wobble some talk about, but then it was a little windy and I realised I had my top box on, so no surprise at 140 plus (and obviosuly I'm lying, for big willy respect, and I'm sure anyone can see thru that statement) Have to say tho, I am thinking I need another bike. Its just not exciting, at all. THe last multi was, like a 220kg supermoto. This thing isnt
Sorry Bradders. I did text you as you were setting out to say that I couldn't make the meet up point in time. It didn't stop raining here till 9:30. It was wet and shitty so I didn't get out till gone 10 o'clock in the end by which time it was a bit late to head for Loomies. Went on a local run in the end - tea and ice cream watching Tiger Moths at Compton Abbas.
Me and a couple of mates were out yesterday, we passed through Faringdon at some point I think that's where I stopped for petrol. Saw loads of Ducati's out, lots of Panigales the last one was going through Avebury.
I didnt see that many Ducatis out for a change, other than Loomies and Popham but what I did see was old 9*6 style. And boy they are looking old hat now
