Couldn't agree more. Wonder if Dorna are angling to return to South Africa. IIRC, Kyalami was last visited when Rossi swapped to Yamaha, 2007 ? Andy
I take it Aleix has forgotten how Marquez pulled the same type of move/mistake on him (twice) in Austria lol. Wonder what Jack Millers thoughts on the subject are too. All a bit cry arsey for me.
Theres two scenarios with Binder in moto gp really isnt there; 1) he makes a roaring success of it and is regualrly in the top 10 during his rookie year - which would mean no repeat of his past antics 2) he makes an absolute arse of himself and hes gone by the end of the season I dont really see anything worse in his riding style than certain others that people like to smirk at because "they pull hard moves because theyre winners" etc...yeh it was a nightmare for him that he ended the championship but it wasnt because he was slow and in the way last weekend was it.
The only statistics I was able to find, show that he has won once and failed to finish 32 times in the 116 races he has started during 7 seasons in Moto3. I was unable to find a breakdown of the DNF’s to quantify how many were due to ‘racing incidents’. Clearly there is more behind the scenes horse trading than we’ll get to hear about that got him a start in MotoGP. IMO, I don’t see it but then I’m not an investor in Dorna. Andy
I still think it’s weird that wsbk got rid of stock 1000. Ssp6 to a 250bhp superbike with rider aids is like jumping out of a Cessna in to a Typhoon
They do like a pair of brothers racing in the same series dont they (although probably safe to say the marquez and asparagus brothers achieved a lot more before they arrived in moto gp).
It was interesting to see Alex Rins dash from that new onboard shoulder cam view at the weekend, especially with all the buttons and levers he has to push to adjust ride heights etc coming in and out of every corner. Pretty sure I’d completely f*ck that up at some point if it were me!
