Hello to everyone! First of all sorry if this is not the correct forum. A few months ago I bought a Ducati superlight mk2, it came with silmotor exhausts. I need a couple of oem mufflers since it has to pass a test in order to register the bike in my country, it has to be as original as possible. I made a mistake and I bought a couple of low mufflers A04/B04...574.1.004.2C Is it possible to install these low mufflers as high mufflers? I mean, is it possible to buy a link pipe or something to adapt them? I appreciate anykind of advice. Cheers!
Yes, but the 900 SL has high mufflers. I need a link pipe or something to adapt to my low A04/B04 to make them higher.
Sorry, my misunderstanding, you want to convert low into high. IME, there is no way to cost effectively do that in a way that is aesthetically pleasing. Can’t you mount the OEM low for registration and switch to the Silmotor afterwards?
The original silencers rarely come up for sale, and are usually snapped up quick for a strong price. Not to put you off, but you may be waiting a while for a set. If you can do as Jon says then it'll certainly be easier
