  2. Might be fun for an hour or two? I've a few other things I'd rather spend £4K on.

  4. I have gone electric, but illegal.

Hoping the rules might change as it the scooter could be a viable alternative to using the tube. UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_1615.jpg

  5. You need a steering damper on that. I can imagine the ( no tank ) slappers you could have, hitting a small stone! o_O

  6. Already had some very scary moments that make a track day look like a breeze.

  7. Looks good, but the vid is from 2018, is the battery life any better now?

  8. I’ve never seen one at a trial but someone competes on an Electric Motion Epure and never has a problem with battery life. I think four hours is quoted by EM which is more than enough for a clubman trial. Expensive to buy though.

  9. Four hours is alot more than the impression I got from the voiceover on the clip. Mind you for £8K, I'd expect a fair bit.

  10. We ran an Oset 20r with the standard lead acid batteries when the boy was eight for his first season and it always had juice left at the end of the trial which was usually four times round eight sections. A few ran the lipo upgraded battery which gave four hours running time and a bit more zip but I never felt the need to upgrade as the kids were tired out after an hour or so.

  11. I’ve been looking at it too, and it does seem like a great piece of kit! The reviews are solid, and it’s definitely caught my attention.

  12. I’ve gone old school, but next time, yes.

  13. All the drug dealers round here use surrons, police have given up trying to catch um.

  14. Same with the scrotes here in Brizzle, they are lawless and dangerous scum. Police do nothing & say they can't even try to catch 'em.

  15. Very popular with the local drug dealers who are using them to blast around the back paths and move their stuff around, and the police can’t do anything with them

  16. EMP guns would be useful. Unless full EV cars and people with pace makers are near by:punch:

  17. it just blows my mind that we have groups of kids on £4-5k ‘motocross’ bikes basically in full balaclava’s tearing around and the police literally can’t do anything about it, I do live in Swindon I admit but a nicer area, and yet it’s constant. The other day one of the kids rode into the side of a van and is now in intensive care.

part of me thinks it would be good if they all did that, but I feel sorry for the poor drivers just pottering along and a kid on an ebike just belts across the front of them and it’s the drivers ‘fault’ no doubt

  18. I have to stop myself doing rash things like catch their front brake as they harass people, as I'd be the one in the dock. The thing that really pisses me off is that I - as one who coughs up for all the taxes, insurance, etc for my bikes & car - am more likely to be stopped by plod than the scrotes because I'm legal & traceable! Grrrrrrrrrrr
