Hi All, A friend of mine is in her last year of product design at Brunell University. She is a bit of a petrol head and has also bought her first bike this year. As part of her studies she has asked if riders could spare 5 minutes to take part in a survey. (I did, and it didnt take me 5 mins). No personal details are asked for. Nobody will contact you afterwards. Please click the link below. Thanks. QuickSurveys
Done. easily less than 5 minutes, no surprises in the questions and no requests for email / moble / identity.
funnily enough that was the comment I made on the last question, I do not wear a beige cardigan and I'm not bald!
I've already tried one as it happens. Not GPS, but a heads-up display for Coulthard and Hakkinen when I was working at Mclaren. They didn't pursue the idea.
Now I have given it some thought, I would almost definitely find permanently displayed info' distracting, but It would be good to have the info' displayed as and when I needed it, possibly activated/deactivated with a flick of the head, like what you do to flick the visor down when wearing a welding mask.
John all you need is direction arrows a short distance before turn so for example arrow left 500m before turn arrow and 500m displayed, then arrow and 250m, then arrow 100mcand arrow.
