Evening all.... I had my battery disconnected today while adding a few electrical items to my DVT. When I reconnected the battery and put the ignition on I had a display on the dash 'Adjusting preload' the bike made a number of whirring noises then all went quiet. I gather the bike was adjusting its suspension settings My questions..... Should I have been sitting on the bike at the time? Should it have been on its main stand or side stand? I've looked in the manual but cant find any information.
Just let it do it’s thing and all is well. It’s just looking for both ends of the preload spectrum so that mechanics match electronics.
