1200 Pikes Peak Suspension Setup

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by ADS1, Mar 27, 2018.

  1. Hi

Have just P/X my 15 DVT'S for a 17 PP with fancy Ohlins, bike seems very bouncy, not sure what setting to use or adjust to make it less bouncy, or is this how the bike is as I am used to skyhook etc.

Would be interest to know what setting others are using, or should I just use settings as per manual

    Thanks

  2. Spend 60-100 quid and get it set up by a pro for your weight etc, but first, put it back to stock settings and see how that is. :upyeah:

  4. As I recently found out, the settings in the manual and what the bike is supplied set up as, can both be very wrong. If you understand suspension set up (sag etc) I’d do basic settings yourself then tweak it to your preference. If you’re not comfortable doing this, pay a technician to do so.

  5. Agree. Got set up by racing team pro via my dealer with my 17 PP and then tweaked myself for finer tuning and personal preference it made a big difference. Think it was £70
