1200 Suspension Upgrade

Discussion in 'Monster' started by Mordor, Nov 27, 2021.

  1. I have a friend who likes their Monster. but not completely happy with the suspension and wants to upgrade both front (either cartridges or complete forks) and rear shock. But budget doesn't allow both upgrades this winter. So only one end this winter and the other end next winter.

What would people recommend to upgrade first - front or rear? All comments are appreciated :)

  2. Just had my Evo forks and rear shock sorted by Richard @ Maxton, made the world of difference

  3. I would go rear first. Slightly easier and you could install a new shock yourself. May make the front feel worse, but removing forks is more of a hassle, unless you are taking it somewhere for them to do the change.

Rear first, fronts next year, plenty of cartridge kits from K tech, Ohlins, Nitron and Maxton.
Good shocks out there from same brands.
