A bit of a surprise they'll be back in 2015 and not 2014. What's more surprising is that at testing today, on it's official debut it was only three quarters of a second off the pace of the top bike [TABLE="class: resultsTable, width: 586"] [TR] [TD="bgcolor: It would be more interesting to see what times someone like Jorge or Cal could do on it - not sure RdeP has ever been closer than 0.7 off the pace has he? But this is also 0.1 slower than the Tech 3 bike, and almost up there with the rest of the factory bikes first time out. Quite impressive. I also thought it looked quite sharp. Nice. Shame it's 2015.....
It's been reported Dorna will not help suzuki with coast's to and from circuits in 2014!!! Maybe if suzuki stuck a spanish rider on board Dorna will!! like they do for the rest of the teams!!
Yep a bit of a shame that they're delaying their return, but I'd much rather they return to the series with a competetive bike. I don't want to see the blue bikes running around in tenth, waste of time, money and talent. The series could still do with more factory support from the likes of BMW, Kawasaki, KTM and Aprilia IMO
Possibly drinking fuel to get those times who knows? they also claim to be looking at the control ECU so waiting to get to grips with that, plus they probably don't have motors that can last the distance yet. However still impressive good on them. Pity we will have to wait until 2015 but at least it shows how important it is to the factories.
The Suzuki is looking good. Apparently it was putting in consistent laps and looked quite reliable with good handling in the corners. Just needs power off the corners but they are waiting for the control ECU as Freak said. Would of been great seeing them next year. Honda are testing in Aragon and have brought next years bike and it seems that even with the new fuel rules next year, it's putting out more power, but like the Suzuki, hasn't had the control ECU implemented yet. Ducati can't even progress with this years bike.
