V4 Sw Motech Tank Bag - Pro Gs Or Pro City?

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by Richard F, Nov 14, 2022.

  1. I'm asking only because I can't find a dealer/shop that actually has them in stock to try/compare...

One of these is made for the GS and called the PRO GS and the other is called the PRO CITY, both designed for adventure bikes / sloping tanks.

Does anyone have experience of these on a Multistrada V4, and if so, which profile fits the tank better?

I already have the SW Motech tank ring so I'm not going to be switching to a different brand anytime soon!..

  2. Pro city, fits like a glove once adjusted, best tank bag for this bike.

  3. How easy is it to press the power button?

I ask as the Givi/Ducati one is a little awkward as it overhangs the button (especially the newer 6l givi model)

  4. I wondered this as well - and it throws up another question for me.
If I can get to the power button without too much bother then I'd be happy - but how about using the kill switch to stop the engine rather than pressing the power button as I normally would?
It's not something I've ever done to switch the engine off on a bike - and this feels somehow 'wrong' - but is it I wonder??

  5. I always use the kill switch :upyeah:

  6. Yes it overhands the power button, but it doesn't restrict access to it, ie you can still finger your knob to switch the bike on & off, yes its inconvenient but if you don't like that don't use a tank bag & yes its the obligatory bike shot with Ribblehead in the background ;-)
