1. So, I sold my RSV4 Aprilia…what a great bike but the peg position is painful for someone at 6ft 2! Went to drop it off and spotted a 1098 in the showroom….no intention of buying one but I now own it! Has a few running issues (already posted!) but a properly clean, FSH ,5000 mile 2007 bike with Termis and a bit of carbon. Although I love my 748, it’s incredible to see the progress and seeing them side by side, you can see every inch of the styling similarities but they’re so different ! Spent 5 hours cleaning it yesterday and today and it’s starting to look good, going to get Paul at PG performance to just sort it out for me mechanically before a road trip to Cornwall on the 8th July. What is it about this old Italian shit that keeps us buying it?

  3. It’s called an abusive relationship, you lavish lots of money on it and occasionally it chits all over you but you can’t get rid of it as you love it too much.:sob:

    But it's shiny and red.
    That's the main thing.
