749 Swapping A 749 For 999 Engine

Straight swap, if 999 engine is a shallow sump.

An afternoon will see it done

 

Are all 749's shallow sump then?

 

It may idle but I would not run it without the correct map installed

 

I think hardware wise it should be a straight swap but almost certainly won't even idle due to the ignition timing being programmed for 749. Either that or it will run horribly
