Swingarm

  1. Whats so good about the 1000ss swingarm over the standard alloy off the carby?

  4. Better design on pivot clamp. Look great polished.
     
  5. Mines alright................It's from one of the earlier 900ss with the thinner brace, so on a 750 SS who bloody cares?........but I suppose it is better than the steel OEM one.

  6. So not worth getting then, unless I wanted more shineyness and a LITTLE bit less weight.

  8. I had to buy a crashed 1000ds to get one. But got arm and ohlins for nothing after selling on leftovers.

    It does shorten the wheel base a bit too, every little helps [emoji6]

  14. I saw metchamex at a show a few years back and dribbled on that arm.
     
  15. heck that's gone up a bit sure they were only £650
    a while back .....

    just checked my old thread on that swinger last year it was only £645 lol

  16. I bought one for a shade under £400. Mind, that was a very, very long time ago and collected from the factory...

  19. That is exactly why I kept the OEM steel one when I fitted the 900ss one to my 750............"Just in case"
