749 Switched Live 749/999

  1. Does anyone know if there is an easy to access switched live somewhere near the battery please? Need one to power an accessory and I can’t find anything using search on the forum or the interwebs.

  2. Found one via YouTube. Red wire in the ignition block, that’s what the guy on youtube called it, white 4 wire multi plug on the frame above the battery.

  3. Careful you dont short the ECU , that controls the fans on/off.

  4. I took it for a test ride last week. Did about a 10 mile round trip with no issues.

  5. I had an issue with mine.....didnt effect running etc.

    The ecu shorted somehow & right fan coming on by itself. Dunno how short happened. Ecu controls the fans...

  6. Thanks for the info Dubs. Any idea where there is a safer 12v switched live I can use then?
