1199 Tail Tidy Eliminator

Discussion in 'Panigale' started by Russell, May 18, 2014.

  1. Hi guys

Iv decided to change the stock rear numberplate bracket on my 1199 for either an Evotech or R&G item.

I like the look of both but need a little help deciding on what one to purchase. Both look pretty good although the Evotech is £40 more expensive than the R&G.

Has anyone got any experience with either brackets ?

    :)

  2. Sure you could't be tempted by a DP one? ;)

  3. I can't bring myself to spend £250 on a tail tidy lol

  4. Haha, I kinda know that feeling....although I actually have one for sale atm. Long story but basically I have ended up with 2 so have one that's going 'cheap' rather than return it and take a just over £70 hit :(

  5. Tried to send a PM but it won't let me..

How much did you want for the extra tail tidy you have ? I'll be more than happy to take it off your hands :)

  6. ive an evotech pain in the arse to fit go with r and g

  7. Alternatively you could consider Bruudt.
German and the fit/finish is so precise, no gaps (unlike some of the others) and no cutting as it uses all the existing lighting.

  8. Thanks for all the advise/help guys.

  9. Bruudt definitely the neatest and you use the existing number plate light so no messing about with wiring.

    Few pics with the Bruudt.

Would say the DP one is stunning in the flesh, just didn't want to pay the price!

  12. Looks ace that!!

Iv literally just managed to get my hands in a DP. Got a mega deal too..

Thanks guys for all the opinions and help :)

  13. Bruudt for me, got one sitting in the garage waiting for my 1199 to be delivered!

  14. I dismissed the Werkes item as the indicators are separate and mount in the tail vents. Can't see how they're legal and I don't like the look of them

  15. don't make same mistake as i did. I've installed cheapo tail tidy from powerbronse only to take it off few weeks later (as it looks so cheap) and bin it. now i have DP one and love it, only wish I've bought it from beginning and saved myself some money

  16. image.jpg Only pic I've got at the moment of mine with DP tail tidy but might give you an idea. Bit fiddly to fit but good quality as you'd expect for the price. Best thing is std indicators are retained and all wiring is neatly tucked away out of sight.

  17. Fitted my DP tail tidy this morning, looks fantastic. Very happy with it :)

Although my 7x4.25 plate is maybe a tad small lol

  18. Looks pretty smart that :)

  19. Have you still got it?
