996 Tail Tidy

    Anyone fitted a tail tidy?

    If so what make and was it easy? (Yes, I know, nothing is ever #&$! easy).

  3. Have a slight gappage issue between pipes and standard plate holder that a tidy may sort.

    Lovely bike that Yev.
     
  4. I put a carbon one on mine.Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
     
  5. Did you need resistors?

    Did it create more space between the pipes and the plate?

    Could I get a picture please?
     
  6. I put a tail diddy on my 1288s. Came out sick and easy to install. I like it better than my competition werkes I had on my 1199

  8. not the best pic but[​IMG] this is a R and G one which i am very happy with and was pretty easy to fit,
     
  9. Did you need the rectifier(or whatever they are called) to get them flashing right?
     
  10. no just plug em in.. had the same pin type terminals as the standard indicators.. the have a lill (about 10mm by 30mm) inline box thingy. they came with some heat shrink to tidy up wires but after spending nearly 2 years rebuilding mine i couldnt be arsed putting it on! that will be done in this years winter refresh... got the kit from conquest carbon, who are really good peeps.

  13. Mine is a Cycle Catz i think that's how it's spelt from the USA
    Very easy to fit
