Got took out by a corsa yesterday lunch time at some traffic lights whilst on my hyper. Any one passing through stow on the wold have a quick look at my bike and post how bashed up it is....looked ok from where i was lying but i couldnt see the side it landed on..i was carted off in amblance .bike is still down there waiting for insurance folk to collect it.which will be monday....i am fine bar very bruised and tender all over.truly gutted
Usually the Police arrange for the damaged vehicle to be taken away by a recovery agent to a secure location. That has definitely happened to me on the three occasions I've crashed and been taken to hospital.
Stow on the wold is full of posh assholes but still I'd of got a mate or local garage to pick it up & place it in their carpark for peace of mind. I'd like to hear/read the description of the accident.
Oh no. Not another one. Sympathy and commiserations Shed71. At least you're unscathed, more or less. Hope you get a result with the bike.
Waiting to turn right at set of lights.when they were green i moved to centre of junction and waited for a gap. When the gap came i made the turn.the oncoming traffic at the junction could miss the lights as there was a small slip road allowing cars to enter the same road as me. This had a give way at the end of it. I think he either never saw the give way or thought i thought i was stopped.as i turned right he hit the back of me sending me flying..
oh FFS....so sorry to hear this mate,it really, really sucks arse.....hope you're ok and the bike can be sorted
Bike is being collected by insurance. They are dropping off a courtesy bike. A ncx750 honda.luckily he was insured and admitted he was at fault to police..missing it already
You only have to read the AirCon thread to realise how this could have been so much worse. Bikes can be fixed - and at the perpetrator's expense. Sorry to hear this, but it'll all sort itself out.
What is going on lately, everyone on this board, please be safe! Or as safe as you can be with idiots about! Jon.
must say,, well first,, glad you not too badlly bashed up,,, but,, being rear ended is always a worry for me in town,, one of the reasons that i will happily filter to the front of a stationary line of traffic
