bought the new Hyper SP.....love it the right hand guard/indicator was cracked when PDI'd, or at least in transit...no great drama. shop ordered a replacement, happy days...its a month later and the shop still haven't received the part....not their fault I guess....bloody Ducati Italy..... I guess this is typical of ownership, although I haven't had any such experiences before with the 749 or 996 cos never needed to!! Hope its in for fitting when I get first service done hope it stops bloody raining to:biggrin:
mate its brand new from another dealer so THEY need to get the part and repair it at no charge to motorapdio won't do it for free....
funkatronic, thespionkop's Hyper is brand new and was supplied by his dealer with the fault so they need to get it fixed, at least we can guess by previous posts that the dealer in question was not JHP Maccaa
oh and before anyone gets their back up, as I know dealers are on here this is by no means a dig at the dealer, it happens...just surprised at the length of time it takes to get a part for a brand new bike ...glad it wasn't something that may have put it off the road...
