Hello all, I have a 2014 Monster 1200S and over time it has been an Ucati and currently D’cati as various letters fall off, which is getting quite tiresome. I’m interested to see what other owners have done, whether to buy replacement lettering/decals from Ducati or Steine Dinse, or some of the aftermarket kits that are available? Thanks
I’ve not experienced this on mine but I have had lots of trouble with the adhesion of tank pads. In my experience it always comes down to preparation. Don’t do it on a cold day. Thoroughly clean the surface, use degreaser and/or alcohol to ensure an oil residue free surface. Warm the surface and the sticker with a hair dryer. Sorry to teach granny to suck eggs…
