Guys, just wondered has anyone taken one of these apart? I’m surprised how heavy they are and is there anything inside I can get rid of to reduce the weight?
I took my 57mm Ti “silencer” apart some years ago. There’s eff all inside apart from two perforated tubes surrounded by wadding. My advice - don’t do it...the wadding is injected tape type stuff and once you start to pull it out it’s like a crap magician show where they pull an endless stream of hankies out of a hat. A complete arse to get back in. Also the tubes have a fine gauze wrapped around them which is razor sharp scratchy stuff...my forearms were completely bleeding trying to get it back together! Apart from that...great stuff!
