  1. Any one know the size and length of the stainless blind rivets required for a 998 termignoni carbon can please?

  2. Yes but I don't have it to hand. I'll get back to you later.

  3. brilliant thanks........im thinking 5mm or 4.8 x dont know...

  4. 4.8mm dia
    11.5mm length
    9.5mm head

Only ever seen aluminium myself and I always put aluminium one back as they are easier to drill out.

  5. thanks.....but you still used blind ones?

  6. Get some sealed blind rivets, rather than the usual ones that are open both ends

  7. did you use stainless or ally.......

  8. Use ally, the next time you remove them you'll be thankful you did.

    Plus they weigh less...

  9. I used alloy on my 9R . The heads melted off . Had to get an industrial rivit gun to pop the stainless ones in.

Should have said I have an old stuart eastern Ti termi off his race 749 . Re-packed it and used alloy rivits . The ones on the top , all of them , melted into a ball of alloy and the bottom bits dropped off. Could have been down to the Ti though.

  10. I thought Easton's bike used Akro's, not Termi's

  11. Ah, that was only on the RS one.....

  12. Not in 2005 . Termis that year or at least part of it.
