Quick question. Does a carbon Termi end can sound any diferent to the stock end can on a multi 1200 or 1260? Seen one on ebay and want to know if its worth the money Cheers
If you are talking just the end can attached to your existing cat, IMO and experience of an Akrapovic end can on my 1200S, there will be very little if no discernable difference as all the muting is done in the cat. Some people hear a slightly deeper tone but no more volume. At best, it’s bling. A full system however is an entirely different kettle of fish but of course, much more expensive. Andy
Thanks Andy Just after a deeper tone.. dont really want it louder.. i have the flapper valve disconnected and its loud enough How much of a change in tone there?
Yes and very happy with the look and i do think it sounds better. I got it from ebay https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/112926142890 Item came from italy and had a long shipping time. I messaged the company and they said would take 2 days. And ot did.
I tried one of these back to back with stock, and thought it made no difference what so ever, as all the noise suppression was dealt with in the cat box underneath. I thought there was more change made to the noise of the bike by taking the flapper out than there was changing end can. Save ya cash and spend a few more £££ on a full system imo. The full Arrow system is 7-800 quid and looks/sounds much much better than an end can.
Wayne i agree. Better to do the full Monty if you want to go louder. For me i wanted the carbon endcan look and not increase my allread £1300 insurance by adding a full race system. I have the flapper removed and although subjective i do think the end can changes the tone a little.
Yep tell me about it £850 last year on a 1200 valued at 12000 and now 1300 pounds on the 1260 valued at 17000. Piss take. Garaged 7 years ncb and no bad history. Its the fipping scooter kids pintching the bikes in London.
