Termi on route!

  1. All being well I should have a full Termi winging its way towards my Hyper as we speak:smile: Other than being excited about the single pipe look and of course the sound I'm hoping the fueling will be a shade improved.... Pics to follow when fitted.

  2. What model? I have the full termi baffle out in my 821 SP. Boy it makes for a great commuting city bike. People certainly know your coming and move kit if the way in the blip of the throttle.

The downside is that people I.e. the police can also hear you coming to. So if you are supposed to be going 30. You better damn make sure you are as everybody will hear you coming well before they can see you.

As for fuelling. I'm find my skyhook full termi better than my SP at lower revs. Around 3k still a little lumpy, I have only ridden a full termi so sadly have nothing to compare with.

No complaints though. You will love that noise.

Did I mention tunnels? You will be hunting for them.

  3. I've opted for the 2 into 1 (96459210b) with stainless manifolds, removable baffle etc. Judging by what you say she will sound sweet! I used to have a GP pipe on my gixxer and they could hear me coming for miles although it'll be a different sound on a twin for sure! At the mo its a bit lumpy - especially through town so any improvement will be good. I may investigate a re-map or possibly dropping a tooth on the front sprocket - my immediate thoughts then go to tyres and the fact that my supercorsas are pretty much dead after 2k so am wondering if I should go down the same route (not worried about low miles) or try something that will keep the rubber on the road in a shower as I'm planning on doing some trips on the hyper - perhaps to Assen for the gp next year amongst others - any thoughts? Oh and I'll be popping over the border to Wales via the Newport tunnels too:)

  4. have you considered dual purpose tyres for occasional off road trips, i belive they may be usefull for you.

  5. That made me smile! I could certainly have done with some nobblies when I hit the grass for sure. In all though it was a good ride:)

  6. we,re out most weekends , just get in touch . nice ride last time ,good to have another duke along . cant wait to see/hear your termi.
