The injectors are compared right from their initial activation at very low pulse widths which in real terms is lower than fueling at idle and then up through the rev range and higher pulse widths (amount injected). Having a pair that deliver closely the same (within 2%) at low rpm on the Multis is so important to a smooth bike low down.
