I've enthused about him before saying he deserves an honour. - Not sure he'll get one 'cos he's fighting the establishment. Well there's a follow up programme on tonight (Channel 4, 10pm). I think showing the progress so far on him saving the nation. Worth a look. All hail that Dave bloke.

Oddly enough people who fight against the establishment are often offered honours, if they have done so with distinction over several years. Example: Peter Tatchell, campaigner for gay rights and human rights, has been offered honours three times despite being a thorn in the flesh of the establishment. Trouble is, he keeps turning them down ... Dave may have to wait a year or two.
He's probably been offered honours to keep him sweet so he doesn't "out" some of the establishment. They must be shitting themselves every time he turns them down :wink:
