  1. Bloody hell its brilliant. I only just watched this years race. Ive never checked it out largely because of the TT but Im now really into it. The racing is so tight and explosive.

    Im gonna go next year

  2. You'll enjoy it. I've not been for quite a few years but were regular in the nineties and noughties.

It's a great place to be on holiday too.

If you're going on a bike make sure you have enough time to do some riding. The coast road from larne to portrush is one of the best biking roads in the UK.

Also, the ride round the top coast, it's great too.

In truth, there's loads if great biking roads in Ulster.

I've toured most of Ulster in the past and watched some of the greats at some the greatest road races.

If you ever get a chance, try and get over for the armoy races, proper in the hedgerows road racing.

Sadly, the Irish pure road race calendar has been decimated over the last couple of years. The real classics are gone now, like the UGP, mid antrim, tandragee and the races like the skerries in eire

You'll love it, get it done!

  3. I agree on the Larne coast road, unfortunately I didn’t take my KTM 790 in the back of my van.

Stopped in a nice B&B in Larne, was there 5 weeks.
