Dare I say I actually enjoy SP commentaries and really dont mind Charlie's snippets as long as i get to see it....dont have Eurosport tho!
beeb pre coverage is far better than Eurosport but the commentary, altho Jools and Moody can be a bit much after a few hours, they are easier to tune out of
2,567 hours so far and I'm still happy  I could listen to them till the cows come home - especially with Spalders in there as well.
Eh!? Am I missing something? What's wrong with SP and CC? I'm somewhat puzzled as to the mass slag-athon. . . . . .
I can only watch the BBC presentation, so can't make a comparison. I enjoy SP's commentary, and also enjoy watching CC's obvious discomfort whilst speaking to camera. It looks like he is expecting to be given the sack any minute.
Did you know that CC owns Carphone Warehouse? I have to say I like the BBC team, but they don't half miss alot of what is happening on screen as they natter on. Never really liked the Eurosport guys. Toby Moody by himself is quite an interesting man, but Julian Rider isnt much fun to listen to, he's like the lcoal pub bore. Gavin Emmet knows his stuff too and is very interesting. I like Ian Wheeler but I think he's leaving Century productions and Nick Harry is like an excitable maths teacher, which works for me
