Please let it be dry on the 1st of September so i can pick-up my new bike cos i'm riding in the rain !! Richie
hope it's dry, but I'm sure you'll be fine whatever. I passed my test on a Monday and picked up my brand new cbr600 on the Wednesday. It was pouring down. I'd never ridden a sportsbike, never ridden on new tyres and never ridden anything bigger than a 125 in the rain. I was passed by what looked like a 13 year old on a 50cc scoot :frown: I'm sure the entire staff of the dealers were watching me go, waiting for me to fall off!
Don't mind ride and getting wet but I don't want a new bike getting shited up on it's 1st outting ! Rich
Hope you get on well then. Would be interested to know what you make of the Corse once you've got it. Andy
This was the view from the train window when I was on the way to pick up my Multistrada in December 2009...the staff at Parkinson's in Colchester said I was the first person they'd seen riding a Ducati in the snow! First 100 m of my Ducati ownership was in ice and snow!
And that's the sad part of owning a Duc. I've never cleaned a bike so much. In fact I think I've cleaned Daisy more than I ever did my R1 in 2.5 years
I'm hoping for lots of sunshine on the 1st September also as I'm picking up my 1098s  fingers and everything else crossed ..! Stu
Have fun tomorrow Stu, it looks like its going to be dry if cloudy. Here's looking forward to some pics of a very happy, smiley Stu showing off his new toy!
Weather all weekend is gonna be decent. Make the most of it cos it'll be in the garage pretty soon for the winter
