it's that time again, as reminded by Bradders it's the 2nd Saturday and normally the Surrey Boxhill meet. The Sun hasn't exactly got his hat on but is making an occasional appearance here 5 miles down the road. Will be happy to buy anyone a cup of Tea/Coffee - should be there about 10 a.m.
Its been dry (well not raining, still wet from a downpour overnight) all morning with cloud and sun exchanging places, but mate lives up the road 10 miles and been raining most of the time. So sat riding my sofa instead
despite threatening rain I had a good 'giro' exploring a few back roads around Bookham/Effingham/Horsley ending at Newlands but hardly anyone out on a bike it seems. Roll on tomorrow - hope you are healing well Paul.
Didn't make it down to Boxhill today. Went down to Snells to pick up some side panels and SWMBO ended up buying a baby Monster as well ... Result !!
It was godamn scarily windy......... I got blown across one lane of the A27 several times........ thankfully, cars behind could see that I was being wind-swatted and stayed clear. Not fun......
I was 'tacking' my slab sided Trumpet down the A24 this afternon. Quite enjoyed my nautical escapade!
