  1. Anyone else watching this awesome Swedish/Danish collaboration on BBC?

People cut in half, murdered homeless people, millionaires held to ransom, martial arts, samurai swords, fit blond bird.

Great characters, plot, but I haven't got a clue what is actually going on.

Catch up on iplayer episodes 1-4 - next two episodes tomorrow night.

    BBC Four - The Bridge

    Damn it's good.

  2. Yep I've been watching, I was watching a Italian detective thing before but it must have finished and this one followed.

  3. Inspector Montalbano. great for improving your Italian before WDW and available on DVD at Amazon.co.uk

  4. Montalbano will really take some beating - I could watch any one of them again right now. The Bridge is also excellent, just in a different way.:upyeah:

  5. I am too lazy for subtitles, I tend to sit here typing whilst the TV is on, so I only really listen rather than watching, no good for subtitles.

  6. It's that female multitasking thing, isn't it?
I must confess I've had my doubts about that.

  7. don't forget - Montalbano is back on BBC4

  8. Yep watched it Saturday.

  9. Montalbano edit seems to have a lot of lengthy scenes of people driving around lovely Sicilian scenery in FIATs and Alfas, which makes the plot development rather slow. Thus relaxing to watch. The Italian dialogue and subtitles are great though.

  10. Was a good episode with balance of humour, scenery & drama.

  11. I've been a Chelsea fan for years, and I've never seen anyone cut in half at the Bridge:rolleyes:

  12. Come on I saw him fall like that every other Saturday until he left for China!

  13. Point taken:wink:

  14. -and the second one is even better (Pete - you really take some pleasing!.. )
