so in the garage ATM I also have my Yamaha xs400se which I have built over the past years, all hand fabricated one off work. I love this little yam. This is to sell so I can do another one, like lots of us on the forum, I would love to take building to the next level and actually earn from it ! And the srad 750, once finished it will be a rep of an old enduro racer.
Nice to see an XS. Looks great. Bet it sounds good too. Where have you put the battery? I see the kickstarter has gone. My first and only custom build was an XS 400 done on a shoestring budget 25 years ago when I was very young, very skint and a long-haired grass roots MAG member sort of biker. Looks very dated and a bit confused now but it was good fun to build and ride. Yours looks the bee's knees.
Gimlet, I'm not far from you buddy, as yours mine has been built on almost no money, just clever hording and favers , the only thing that was farmed out was the spacer for the front disc and rear calliper hanger. , yours would have looked very much the moment when you built it :0) The batt actually sits right at the bitten under the swing arm,covered by my crafty infill panels, You caught me out with the chain, yes another bike not quite finished ;0) lol
