    Evening chaps!
I know this is a common failing and has been reported and discussed quite a number of times and I’ve read a few threads on it, but I still don’t seem to find a ‘workable’ and cost-effective solution. Yes I know ‘some’ dealers will replace the complete dash under warranty for just the cost of labour to fit it IF you have a full service history with them. My bike is 7 yrs old, on its 4th owner and been to different dealers so no-one wants to know.

So I’m having a go myself.
As suggested on here, I’ve bought an AliExpress complete replacement casing (body/base and top screen). The two parts ‘look’ great and fit together perfect, but the new screen isn’t the best fit on the original base (if I only replace the cracked screen)
On the original dash I’ve got the cracked cover separated from the base, but the TFT screen and circuit board seem to be secured onto the base and there is no obvious way to get the circuit board and multi pins (for the cable connector) separated from the base/body without damaging it?
So has anybody on here got this far or done this themselves? Some guidance from personal experience would be greatly appreciated ;)

ps. I’ve taken lots of photos and the parts have only cost about £80, so if I can complete this successfully I can do a write-up that could benefit many Panigale (and 1198) owners.
    TIA :punch:
