Went to see the Wonderstuff last night in Holmfirth and they were pretty good. They played about an hour and twenty mins all told, and got the audience bouncing with lots of Levellers types tunes. But a good gig could have been a great gig if they'd played and finished with two of their most famous/popular songs. But they didn't. However as a bonus, their fiddle player Erica Nockall, is stunning Miles Hunt is a lucky chap.
I'm off to see The Threat and UK Subs. I have at least 3 good bands in my town now and one music venue seems to be booking a good mix . Going to see Faster Pusseycat as well. I wanted to go to Download but no one else could be persuaded to go. Boring lot .. I reckon there will be some good ones Autumn time after the festivals. Skid Row was packed out.
