So, once again some of the highest paid sportsmen in the country show why the are worth their obscenely large pay cheques by demonstrating commitment, teamwork, dedication, and..... Oh... Hang on a minute...
The problem is that they get paid so much money for playing for their club that they are terrified of getting injured and loosing their obscene income - so they never fully commit to the national team...
Its the national sport and the premiership is the best in the world, so we are told by those into football. I feel a bit sorry for those that follow the sport, I don't think they are getting value for money.
