Nice for a collection, but could you ever use it on track without a team of technicians. 2013 Kawasaki Forward FTR Machine Ridden by Colin Edwards | eBay
Saw this earlier in the week, for me it's a no brainier, this every time... A one off, proper GP Tech and got some history, definitely something to keep and I'm convinced this will only go up in value. I just can't see the SL's doing the same, no Ducati road bike to date has made anymore than when they were new.
Not strictly true as there are quite a few Desmo's making more than the original price, for example Ducati Manchester sold one recently they had a 60K ticket on it, 20k more than new is not a bad return
IF it goes at that price then I'd buy it, I notice it says it's up for auction and the price is a guide only
I've spent about 2 hours looking at the wonderful stuff in that auction and have still only viewed about half of it. It's like having your Dinky car collection life-size, each vehicle more droolworthy than the last. I think I'd really like the Morris 1000 Panda car. How cool would that be? I also suspect that the indicated prices are fractions of what a lot of this stuff will end up selling for. An NSR 250 Honda, mint, for £4k? Really? Now that I'd like to have. Is anyone thinking of attending the auction? It would be a fab day out.
There is a lot of stunning petrol head machinery you could have for 54k. It would get you a very tidy Porche 911 or Audi R8 for a kick off. No brainer for me.....
Well one of the guys was on an SL today. Good luck putting the FTR on the road and still keeping its character in tact
Saying that I'm over a mates house at the end of the month.... He's just finishing off an xr69 at the moment....
An SL all day long for me. Running CE's 2013 bike would be great, but it'll be like running an old F1 car.
