ok so like many i am asking questions of our friends at borgo panigale regarding the history/provenance of my bikes. first they asked for v5's which i produced and now they have asked the following before they can provide me with info. did everyone else that made a similar request get the same? --------- With reference to you request, and in order for our colleagues to proceed with the appropriate verifications, we kindly ask you to send us the following photos for the bikes of which you want to verify the information: - the front - the back - the two sides of the bike - the picture of the frame number punched on the bike - the picture of the frame number punched on the engine This will enable the colleague in charge to check the exact model of the bike and if it's possible to send you information on this model. -----------
They happily rang me to confirm that my request related to a 748SP and then a 748SPS some years ago, but when i enquired last year about a 749R, I had to prove I was the owner before they’d discuss anything ☹️
