Congratulations to Sheffield Tigers, crowned champions in a well deserved victory with a second leg comeback over Ipswich in the SGB Premiership.
I grew up watching sheffield tigers every Thursday with my parents going back to the days of Doug wyer and Reg Wilson. There were loads more teams back then around Yorkshire, Hull, Halifax, Bradford as well as Sheffield. Went to most of the tracks over the years and of course world finals when they used to be at Wembley. Many great memories and really great to see tigers win this year albeit via the coverage on quest.
