Tight Squeeze

  1. just changed front pads on my 1098. there is not much room between the disc and wheel is there!

  2. bet you scratched your head for a while lol......there is a technique to removing the callipers.

  3. I did. 5mm smaller discs would help

  4. Getting the callipers off is a piece of piss. Use the disc and a fulcrum and turn the calliper towards you. This pushes the pads back against the pistons, which go back, giving you the room to get the calliper off the wheel :)

  5. Don,t forget to take off the reservoir cover when you push the pistons back, and make sure it does not overflow on to your paintwork!

  6. that's what I ended up doing, but very carefully so as not to damage disc
