Yes, courtesy of #2 son again, I am going to see Rod Stewart at the Leeds Arena tonight. Got my orders in for the Stereophonics and Depeche Mode too
You're braver than me. I wouldnt be advertising going to a Rod Stewart concert  In all seriousness, have a nice time
you poor fkr. that shit he's trotted out thats supposed to pass for jazz makes me sick...surprise, surprise its sold in buckets...Harry Connick Jnr must be shaking his head in disbelief...and wondering why he bothered going to Juliard. and, like Elton John, and actor liuvvy turned 'serious muso' Hugh Laurie, Stewart INSISTS on singing/talking/rasping in this embarrassing pseudo quasi-american accent..im not even going to start on about the others coz i can feel my piss starting to boil.. Laurie actually sounds like he's doing an impersonation of a blues singer...much in the same way Joss Stone sounds like she's doing an impersonation of a soul singer..she's got everything, except the soul. anyway, have a nice night x
are you a "red suited superman" or going in your "glad rags and handbags"...... whichever, I dinnae "think ya sexy"...... yo old rocker you ( hmm depeche mode-maybe not.....) whatever, enjoy!!!
i feel bad for El Tozzer now..what have i started?? He's gonna come back home, all puffed up ready to sort the missus out, read this and be proper deflated by our tirades of well founded scorn... Oh well...he did ask for it i guess..
Actually he was very good. All his old stuff. Non of the jazz stuff, and very little soul stuff. Only downside was "sailing" which I agree was and still is shite. But other than that it was a good gig. He even had his daughter Ruby on singing and she's quite good and FAF! Plus half his band and the backing singers were young nubile blondes that were FAF too. I enjoyed it.
