  1. Just saw this on Ebay and thought.........................naaaaaaaah, got to be something wrong.
What do you guys think ?

    DUCATI1098R | eBay

  2. Bidding only at 10.1k. Got to go for atleast 15k.

  3. Yes.

Would you leave your address visible on a photo of a receipt for the world to see ?

  4. Only if you wanted it stealing so you could claim on the insurance

  5. Auction just started at £10k and the reserve is not met. Sounds legit. Showing the invoice with a full address is a bit stupid but it doesn't mean there must be something wrong.

  6. as the seller for pic of the bike with a tin of tescos beans on the seat, then you will know if he has the bike and if its in this country.i think its a scam. the spelling etc is so like those Nigerian dudes that tell you youv won 100000000million Nigerian dollars.

  7. Someone I know rang JHP and asked about the bike and he was told that the seller is foreign ( explains the grammar ) and the bike is legit. He is due a BIG loss in one year by the look of it. Better off selling his gear separately.

  8. Reserve could be 15k

  9. I'm glad that JHP have confirmed the seller and bike are legit. Just reading that description made me think of Nigerian scammers as well lol.

  10. This guy should get someone else to write the description for him... I'm pretty sure he would get more bids.

  11. I'm almost tempted to put in a bid,but I don't need another bike do I?Or should that be,I don't want another bike do I?

  12. At this price with all the goodies thrown in... come on, you know you want to ;)

  13. I need a few good reasons to convince my lovely wife that not only do I need another bike but this one could be unmissable.:upyeah:

  14. Mine fiancee would not be able to tell the difference between my 1098S and 1098R but she may notice that there are two 'identical' bikes in the garage ;)

  15. I can't believe he spent 5 grand in extras!

  16. Actually good point... those leathers, gloves, helmet, 2 paddock stands and a cover surely don't cost £5k?

  17. Akropovic full system, JHP clutch cover. There's 2.5k for a start.

  18. Could you not cleverly hide one behind the other?

  19. Makes sense.. I don't know why I assumed this was purchased separately.

@mervyn - TBH she rarely goes to the garage so I would take a long while before she would realise... she may notice the money missing from the deposit for a house tho ;)

  20. Thats a tricky one Iceman. You will have to come up with a cunning plan,as per Blackadder, that is if you are old enough to remember the Programme.
